Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The initial inspiration came from shadows cast on grass. Months later, she developed a method which did not make the subject onto canvas in an unflat image. Instead, the object is transformed into a representation of the subject in which the painting becomes the carrier of it's personal interpretation by painting, particularly in the case of live or perishable objects like people or fruits. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting however the photograph is the only thing that is left. Both the painting and photographic techniques are so closely coordinated that the end result is nothing but a two-dimensional flat space which is able to achieve trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension can only be seen within certain places, such as near the eyes, or near hair. Meade has integrated her model paintings into the 3-dimensional space around the models. Their interaction as well as the world they created is conceivable. In this way, she blurs the lines between photography, painting performances and installations.
