Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback singer as well as a musician. She works mostly in Tamil and Malayalam film languages. She first made an appearance as an actor with the Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam and Malayalam debut in Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah has been identified as an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as an attorney in the Madras High Court. She has a younger sister living and working in Leuven Belgium in the role of Research assistant. Jeremiah lived close to Chennai and was a student at National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight-year-old classical pianist, who was a huge geek. When she was 10, she was an active member of the group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the basis of her first performing and music composition career. She performed as a performer at her college in various performances that were put on by The Madras Players or EVAM. Andrea was also the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. She's performed all across India. She played a minor role on the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). After she rendered a song on Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu the director asked her to join in the role of a lead female character in his next venture Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea was Kalyani the housewife whose husband is involved in an affair with someone else.
