Alison Krauss is one of the richest and most well-known Country Singer who was born on the 23rd of July 1971 in the state of Decatur, Illinois in the United States. LeAnn Kymes and Alison Krauss were the two youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23rd, 1971) is an American bluegrass country singer and musician. She began her career in the industry as a young girl, winning local contests by the age of 10, and recording her first album when she was 14 years old. In 1985 she was signed with Rounder Records. Her first solo album came out in 1987. She was asked to join Alison Krauss & Union Station together with whom she performed.
